Dr. Saj Rashid is the current Director and Head of the Cardiology Department at St. Thomas Hospital London, where he has worked for the past three years. Saj Rashid went on to study medicine at University College Hospital London after graduating from the city’s best school.
He graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston in 2008, and in 2010, he completed the British Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support Program. Because of his interest in the cardiology programme, he was able to learn and grow under the supervision of some of the best doctors in the country.
He then planned to work as an intern at the same medical college for the next few years, honing his cardiology skills. By 2014, he was leading a team of cardiologists who were conducting research for a project on the factors that influence human heart health.
